#BGReviewer: Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella

Feb 06, 2018

If your day to day has been lacking whimsy then a night out to experience Cinderella is exactly what the doctor prescribed.  Charming, magical, visually stunning and laugh out loud funny, this is most certainly an evening to be enjoyed by young and old. Did I mention there was beast and dragon slaying? Well, there is and it's awesome!

This witty script enhanced the iconic fairy tale characters you remember growing up. Ella, aka Cinderella, is as kind and effervescent as you always imagined but with more chutzpah! She also had some wardrobe changes that will leave you asking, "how did she do that!?" and also saying "ohhh, I want that dress!"

The show stealers, however, had to be Cinderella's step-sisters and their mother, Madame. The ladies ruled the stage and injected the show with its laugh out loud moments.

Not to be forgotten is Cinderella's fairy god mother Marie whose voice captured and enthralled the entire theatre. You will have goosebumps after hearing her hit those high notes.

Cinderella has its final night at Budweiser Gardens tonight (Feb 6) and is a perfect night out for the entire family. And don't worry, you will be home by midnight.
