Spectra Food Services at Budweiser Gardens Donates $1,000 of Produce to My Sisters' Place

Mar 16, 2020

My Sisters’ Place (MSP) is a safe, welcoming and inclusive centre that supports women through drop-in and wrap-around services. Many experience multiple vulnerabilities including gender-based violence, trauma, chronic mental and physical health challenges, homelessness or housing instability, substance use, and extreme poverty.

“In this time where a lot of Canadians are feeling uneasy it’s nice to have some positive come out of this current situation,” said Brian Ohl, General Manager of Budweiser Gardens. “We’re glad that the produce we had in the building will go to good use and we’re proud of the work My Sisters Place and other similar organizations do to give back to the community.”

Spectra at Budweiser Gardens is aware of the recent concerns surrounding confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ontario. At this time, the Middlesex-London Health Unit has stressed that risk to the general public remains low. We consider the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff a top priority.

Keep an eye on the Budweiser Gardens website and social media channels for event updates as we monitor the current COVID-19 Situation.
