#BGReviewer: Brit Floyd

Apr 05, 2019

I want to start out by thanking Budweiser Gardens for the incredible opportunity they gave me. The show brought me back to a time in my life where I was young and carefree, when I could just get lost in the music with no worries at all. It's been 40 years of The Wall but I've been listening to Pink Floyd for longer than that. Brit Floyd truly captured the essence that is Pink Floyd.

When the show started with In the Flesh, it transported me back to when The Wall first came out, the music just flowed through me bringing pure joy to myself. The lights and backdrop during the whole show were amazing and captivating. The backing vocalists were truly phenomenal, especially during their solos. Each member of Brit Floyd's instrumental solos was exactly like it was Pink Floyd themselves, truly remarkable.

My favourite song they played was Shine on You Crazy Diamond, they performed it just as I imagine Pink Floyd would have. Brit Floyd is one of the best shows I have ever been to in my life. They are amazingly talented individuals who come together for an amazing experience.

The second half of the show had amazing sights, when the pig came out I laughed so hard I nearly cried. The theatrics at the end when performing The Trial was one of the highlights of the night, mesmerizing and very well performed. The multiple encores had the crowd going wild with excitement. Truly an amazing night and I am thankful to have seen it :)
